![]() I have had purebred Golden Retrievers for over 20 years and you can read about all my past and present dogs on the website. Once in a while, both my husband and I accidentally call Luna, Ama. Bojanglesā as at the time of her death she had been with me for over half my life and some challenging times. She was my closest companion beginning in my sophomore year in college, through veterinary school, 7 years of private practice, a pathology residency, and a number of years into my marriage and faculty position at UF. I have been in love with the Golden Retriever breed since my first part Golden, Ama. ![]() Our dogs are with us constantly and are part of the family. Our farm is a haven for a retriever with acres to run and train. We have three wonderful children and two Golden Retrievers and of course, Jack the Cat. I have enjoyed my time at UF and my wonderful colleagues but am now looking forward to more personal time to spend with my family, friends and dogs. I also served as the Associate Dean of the UF College of Veterinary Medicine for a number of years. I am specialized in diagnosis of diseases of the skin but have worked on so many different types of animals and tissues that it would be impossible to recount. Kevin works with horses only and I have spent the majority of my career as an Anatomic Pathologist working for the University of Florida after completing a pathology residency. We are both veterinarians and graduates of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, where we are from. We are located on a farm a few miles north of Ocala, Florida where my husband and I have lived for over 30 years.
